About our service in Bloomfield
Bloomfield is part of our Essex County service area, and our technicians cover the whole municipality.
At 53,105 residents across 5.34 square miles it is one of the larger municipalities we cover, and the housing inside it varies enough that the visit is planned around the specific building rather than around the town. All services are performed at the house, and bookings are taken at any hour.
Bloomfield is a township in Essex County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1812, with 53,105 residents at the 2020 census. Brookdale Park, third-largest in the Essex County system, shared with Montclair. Bloomfield Green Historic District and Holsten's Brookdale Confectionery are here. Locally it is read by its sections, Brookdale, Watsessing, Silver Lake, Ampere North, Halycon, North Center, and a job is quoted on the one you are in rather than on the town line. Southern Bloomfield industrialised in the 19th and 20th centuries around GE, Westinghouse and Schering plants while Brookdale stayed farmland; the town has since become mainly residential. Holsten's was the filming location of the final scene of The Sopranos. It borders Belleville, East Orange, Glen Ridge, Montclair, Newark.
The housing in Bloomfield
Brookdale farms turned into residential neighborhoods after World War I. Bloomfield Green Historic District, on the National Register since 1978. What that changes is the fiber and the access, which is why the first question on the phone is about the property rather than about the price.
Water damage in Bloomfield
Second River and Toney's Brook run through Watsessing Park. We read moisture in the pad and the subfloor with a meter rather than trusting how the surface feels, and say which case you are in before starting.

Questions
Questions from Bloomfield customers
Question 1: Do you cover Bloomfield?
Yes, it is one of the 23 municipalities we cover in Essex County. We are a service-area business, so the only thing that changes between towns is the drive.
Question 2: Can the sofa be cleaned on the same visit in Bloomfield?
Yes, in the room it lives in. The fabric is tested somewhere hidden first, then cleaned with the same heated solution and extraction as the carpet. Carpet is dry within hours in warm weather and takes longer in winter, and a fabric sofa usually takes four to eight hours.
Question 3: Does the age of the houses in Bloomfield change anything?
It changes the method. Brookdale farms turned into residential neighborhoods after World War I, and a stock of that kind decides whether a floor wants controlled moisture and a dye test or a straightforward hot-water extraction. We identify the fiber before anything gets wet, every time.
Question 4: A pipe let go and the carpet is soaked. Can it be saved in Bloomfield?
Wet carpet has a clock on it. Clean water caught in the first day or two usually comes back with extraction, a new pad and structured drying, and water that stood longer usually does not. We measure the pad and the subfloor rather than trusting how the surface feels.
Question 5: Which ZIP codes do you cover in Bloomfield?
Bloomfield is ZIP code 07003, and every address in it is inside our service area. There is no storefront and no drop-off point, so every service is performed at the address you give us, anywhere inside the town line.

Our new puppy had a field day on our rugs. We needed a thorough cleaning and spot treatment was not enough. Jacob’s very personable but most importantly, did a great job!

I had a great experience with this carpet company! I called this past Friday and they were able to help me right away. From start to finish, Jacob was professional, friendly, and did an excellent job. Jacob was punctual, respectful of my home, and took the time to make sure the carpets were cleaned thoroughly. The difference was amazing and the carpets look refreshed. I really appreciate Jacob’s attention to detail and great customer service. The price was very reasonable for the job that was completed. I would definitely recommend Jacob and Carpet Cleaning Wizards to anyone looking for reliable carpet cleaning!
