About our service in Alpine
Alpine is part of our Bergen County service area, and our technicians cover the whole municipality.
With 1,762 residents on 6.4 square miles, this is a small borough, most of what we do here comes by word of mouth from the street the last job was on. All services are performed at the house, and bookings are taken at any hour.
Alpine is a borough in Bergen County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1903, with 1,762 residents at the 2020 census. Palisades Interstate Park and Alpine Boat Basin are here. Locally it is read by its sections, Rio Vista, and a job is quoted on the one you are in rather than on the town line. Formed from part of Harrington Township on April 8, 1903, and named after the Swiss Alps by the wife of journalist Charles Nordhoff. Edwin Howard Armstrong built his FM tower and laboratory here after RCA evicted him from the Empire State Building; the 400-foot tower still carries broadcast and two-way radio users and served as a primary tower for New York stations after the September 11 attacks. It borders Closter, Cresskill, Demarest, Norwood, Rockleigh.
The housing in Alpine
Roughly 670 to 730 housing units in the whole borough at recent counts. Very low residential density, about 104.5 housing units per square mile of land. What that changes is the fiber and the access, which is why the first question on the phone is about the property rather than about the price.
The ground Alpine sits on
Sits atop the Hudson Palisades, with the New Jersey section of Palisades Interstate Park running the full length of the borough. The easternmost municipality in New Jersey, about 15 miles north of Midtown Manhattan. We read moisture in the pad and the subfloor with a meter rather than trusting how the surface feels, and say which case you are in before starting.

Questions
Questions from Alpine customers
Question 1: Do you cover Alpine?
Yes, it is one of the 70 municipalities we cover in Bergen County. We are a service-area business, so the only thing that changes between towns is the drive.
Question 2: How long before we can walk on the carpet in Alpine?
That depends on the season. In warm, dry weather most carpet is dry within hours, and in winter thick carpet can take up to 48 hours. The size of the property changes how long the cleaning takes, not how long the drying takes, so a larger Alpine house is not a longer wait.
Question 3: Does the age of the houses in Alpine change anything?
It changes the method. Roughly 670 to 730 housing units in the whole borough at recent counts, and a stock of that kind decides whether a floor wants controlled moisture and a dye test or a straightforward hot-water extraction. We identify the fiber before anything gets wet, every time.
Question 4: A pipe let go and the carpet is soaked. Can it be saved in Alpine?
Wet carpet has a clock on it. Clean water caught in the first day or two usually comes back with extraction, a new pad and structured drying, and water that stood longer usually does not. We measure the pad and the subfloor rather than trusting how the surface feels.
Question 5: Which ZIP codes do you cover in Alpine?
Alpine is ZIP code 07620, and every address in it is inside our service area. There is no storefront and no drop-off point, so every service is performed at the address you give us, anywhere inside the town line.

Had a great experience with Bob and his son. They were very quick to respond and set up. They finished the job within 30 minutes and cleaned up their area. My dog had diarrhea and peed on the carpet and they took everything out. It looks brand new.Highly recommend.

I was extremely satisfied. The carpets look brand new, and-most importantly-everything was done right on time, exactly as we had agreed. They work very quickly and professionally.

Bob was great. He communicated clearly what the job would entail and was honest about what stains could not be 100% removed. Was happy with the service. The carpets looked brand new again!
