About our service in Caldwell
Caldwell is part of our Essex County service area, and our technicians cover the whole municipality.
9,027 residents across 1.18 square miles, which in practice means a mix of housing rather than one kind, so the useful question when you call is what is on your floor, not what the town is like. Everything is done on site, including the rugs and the floor underneath them, and we book around the clock.
Caldwell is a borough in Essex County, New Jersey, incorporated in 1892, with 9,027 residents at the 2020 census. Grover Cleveland Birthplace Historic Site and Caldwell Public Library, a 1908 Carnegie library are here. Grover Cleveland was born here in 1837 in the First Presbyterian Church manse, now a museum. An October 1897 fire destroyed much of Bloomfield Avenue and led to the Hasler Building, the borough's first brick building. It borders Essex Fells, North Caldwell, West Caldwell.
The ground Caldwell sits on
Hatfield Swamp, undeveloped swampland in the western part of the original borough. Carpet that has been wet has a clock on it: caught early most of it returns with a new pad, left standing it becomes a question about mold instead.
How a visit here runs
Tell us the floor, the access and what is on the carpet, and the appointment is planned before anyone arrives rather than improvised at the door. Most carpet is dry within hours in warm weather and takes longer in winter; a fabric sofa usually takes four to eight hours. Where a room has to be back in use by a particular time, say so when you book and we bring air movers rather than hope.

Questions
Questions from Caldwell customers
Question 1: Do you cover Caldwell?
Yes, it is one of the 23 municipalities we cover in Essex County. We are a service-area business, so the only thing that changes between towns is the drive.
Question 2: We need the room back in use the same day. Is that realistic?
It depends on the season. In warm, dry weather carpet is dry within hours and in winter it takes longer, so where a room in Caldwell has to be ready by a set time we bring air movers and sequence the job around that hour.
Question 3: What does a clean in Caldwell cost?
It is priced on the rooms, the stairs and what is on them, so there is no per-room figure here that would be right for most properties. Describe it on the phone or send a photograph of the worst patch and the written estimate comes back before anything is booked.
Question 4: Is wet basement carpet in Caldwell a cleaning job or a mold problem?
Sometimes, and what decides it is how long the water sat and what was in it rather than how bad it looks. Call as soon as the water is stopped. We read the pad and the subfloor with a meter and say which case you are in before starting.
Question 5: Which ZIP codes do you cover in Caldwell?
Caldwell is ZIP code 07006, and every address in it is inside our service area. There is no storefront and no drop-off point, so every service is performed at the address you give us, anywhere inside the town line.

I had a great experience with this carpet company! I called this past Friday and they were able to help me right away. From start to finish, Jacob was professional, friendly, and did an excellent job. Jacob was punctual, respectful of my home, and took the time to make sure the carpets were cleaned thoroughly. The difference was amazing and the carpets look refreshed. I really appreciate Jacob’s attention to detail and great customer service. The price was very reasonable for the job that was completed. I would definitely recommend Jacob and Carpet Cleaning Wizards to anyone looking for reliable carpet cleaning!

Had a great experience with Bob and his son. They were very quick to respond and set up. They finished the job within 30 minutes and cleaned up their area. My dog had diarrhea and peed on the carpet and they took everything out. It looks brand new.Highly recommend.
